We need our government to protect our oceans and the people that live and work on them, not just fishermen & women but everybody. We need a new governmental department to oversee all our coastal seas starting with the quality of the water and the sustainability of life including fish and incrustations and have powers to prosecute anybody ignoring these UK laws. Now that we are in control of our sea we need to oversee who is fishing and what they are catching to make it environmentally safe and sustainable. This will help our coastal villages by encouraging tourism and keeping them alive.
